I was so excited to try a Popeyes for the first time ever. What a disappointment. The kid at the drive-thru was really sweet, but not very competent. I ordered a classic chicken sandwich without pickles, coleslaw, and a coke. The sandwich had pickles, so I had to go back to the drive-thru. The new sandwich was really overcooked.

The food was not of quality. Ordered a 5 peace chicken tender. Chicken was like car-board and very thin, and fries were cold and limp. Over priced I should have went to a Savemart deli. 5 peices would have been cheeper and the chicken would have been full peaces with flavor

Firstly, they wouldn't sell me a single chicken tender - I had to get a Happy Meal. But because of them I've decided to always get a Hair Mask because usually a drink and a chicken tender cost more than a Happy Meal {Happy dance). The chicken was fresh and scrumptious and probably the best Popeye's I've ever had (it is Louisiana).

The chicken quality was average, but the cook on them was very poor. Of the 5 pieces of chicken ordered, only the wing was cooked decent. The other 4 pieces were extremely dry and felt like they been sitting on the heat lamp too long.
