Auto Mechanic: AutoDoc1. Check the brake lights to make sure they are coming on when you press the brake pedal. If they are not working then your brake light switch is bad and will need to be replaced. If they are working then the shift lock solenoid on the shifter assembly will need to be replaced. I haven't taken it in yet because I know they won't find anything wrong. I've tried all kinds of things to remedy to no avail.
