Ive tried to make sub min teams that wasnt tricaru, but it was really unstable. For sub 1min teams, they have to nuke the boss before it gets immunity, or have a strip with good ai so it actually strips when the immunity comes, which requires pretty crazy runes for db12. I honestly think tricaru is easier to build.With tricaru team, i can, i guess will stop buying those scrolls and start maxing my towers :p ... Icaru 2a also has perfect AI in that he uses s2 every time to bring everyone. For most, the runes are left overs due to the lack of defense mons most build. This frees up a lot of runes. There is even a small amount of wiggle room from having perfect runes/artifacts. Said crystals have 20,550 hp. A "perfect" Verde (quad rolls into damage on fire and additional by attack, quad rolls into attack/crit damage with max gem/grind, 9x fight dogs) can hit just over 24k with s2.
Ok so this is my take on the tricaru belial team, i tryed with lushen but find it really inconsistant due to my poor rune quality, so here i tried it with my mananan and find it extremely stable compared to a lushen team, it average arround 30s and is easier to rune, so if you have a lucky mananan sitting in a storage somewhere, maybe try this ...Verde-Tricaru Repeat battle targetting (Left, Right, Boss): Avg. (Same for that deter rune, you prob already have tricaru, this one is gonna sit in your storage forever before you find a use for it) Also you rarely need a fatal with double def roll even if it's a good roll, some rune sets are meant for some type of mobs. I'd throw out rolls on stats less relevant to the rune set stereotypical use.

It is mathematically much harder to build Tricaru for early players if they try to slam Det runes (especially more than 1 set per dog). Guard runes are by far the easiest method to get the stats. There is an argument for using 1 Det set per dog as slot1 doesn’t have any real reqs, so you only need 1 more per dog. Fortunately, Rift Beasts are guranteed "successes" every time even if you die, and Determination runes are more valuable than Guard Runes for hitting Defense breakpoints for Tricaru. For my runes I am using 1 determination set to make it easier to fit all the fight sets plus an accuracy set. I also have some Skill 1 Accuracy from artifacts on the 2 lowest acc Icaru. ... to make fight boosters like fight teon/kona etc. Farming fight is way better than determination since it isn't just for tricaru. Unless you've got high quality runes to have high dmg on the three Icarus, the two transmogged Icarus should have good accuracy so they def break first during a team up and the regular Icaru (built with good dmg) comes in after the def break is applied.
